Participant Requirements:

Cycling in Gran Canaria is great but not easy. Once you leave the rolling coastal roads (which aren’t the most interesting), the roads head straight up the valleys with fairly gentle gradients between 4-8%. For this reason, while we aren’t expecting you to be a pro cyclist, you should head into the trip being comfortable being in the saddle for 2-3 hours. You should also be comfortable changing an inner tube and repairing a puncture if required. Use or ownership of a GPX Bike computer / Watch for the trip is recommended.

Once you’ve booked on, we’ll add you to the trip WhatsApp group where we’ll share the trip guide, as well as bike hire info. The only thing you need to pay for on top of this is for your own flight, bike hire, lunches & coffee stops. We’ll arrange airport transfers in GC for those on the flights listed below. If you are on an alternative flight or bringing your own bike, you must arrange your own transfer.

Bike Hire - Approx 120 euros for 5 days (Sunday-Thursday). Bike hire reservation is free and can be cancelled up to 2 days before the booking date if required. The bike shop we use is great and you can take your own saddles and pedals /power meters if preferred.
