Every Tuesday - 6:15pm

Our sessions progress through 4-week blocks with each block planned by our coaches. The focus of each block varies depending on the time of year to help develop your, strength, speed, form, running economy, & aerobic capacity, perfect for improving your 5km to 1/2 Marathon times. Each week you'll get a session introduction from our run leaders, a led warm-up, and a structured workout.

 

Details

  • Routes: Sessions are typically run in Sefton, Princess or Mystery Park & on Otterspool Prom in winter

  • Distance: Approx 6-12km

  • Requirements: Bright clothes & head torches in winter

  • Participant Requirements: Runners should be able to complete a 5km Run in under 0:28:00

  • Cost: Our run sessions are completely Free to Club Members & Coached Athletes.

    None members may try 3 x FREE Taster Sessions.

Faqs

  • Nothing! Our Tuesday run sessions are FREE. All we will ask you to do is complete the run taster form (Link Below). If you enjoy running with us, after attending 3x taster sessions we ask you to Join the club. This ensures we comply with British Triathlon Insurance provision for the sessions. Your membership fee goes towards the cost of operating the club and providing the best possible opportunities for our members. Check out our membership page for details (Link below).

  • We can accommodate anyone regardless of other affiliations as long as they have completed the taster registration form above. Feel free to bring a friend or colleague… just make sure they complete the form too.

  • If not a club member, please complete the taster registration form using the link below. On arrival, simply make yourself known to one of our coaches or activators.

  • Absolutely not! Our sessions are structured to cater for runners of all abilities. Typically we ask that runners can complete a 5km in under 28 minutes or 10km in under 1Hour 10mins. We appreciate that you may be nervous about turning up for the first time, but our coaches and runners will make you feel welcome.  We have a huge range of abilities in our group, from 17minute to 28minute 5km runners.

  • Unfortunately not. Please come dressed appropriately for the current weather conditions.

  • We run each week in all weather. In the event of snow or ice, we’ll review conditions and confirm if the session is safe to go ahead. We'll be in touch by email, social media, or text if there are ever any changes to session plans.

  • If returning to fitness, recovering, or conserving energy prior to a race we are happy to advise how to adjust the sessions to meet your needs.
