Congratulations to one of our Run Squad Coached athletes Fabian who finished UTMB Julian Alps Trails in Slovenia. ⛰️🏃‍♂️🤘

Prior to the race, the poor weather forecast saw the 108km / 4710m+ course reduced in elevation slightly to a lower / safer route. Starting a 9 pm, the conditions were testing to say the least with persistent rain and snow ❄️. Come midday, the course was closed for safety with many runners withdrawn at 76km ❌

Thankfully, Fabian was way ahead, becoming one of 212 finishers from 320 starters, coming home an excellent 55th (2nd Brit) in 16:30:43, showing the rewards of focussed mountain and trail-specific conditioning through the year.
